Sunshine therapy...

Sunshine can make us feel all together different ... this afternoon we have been graced with a couple hours of summer sun; a little peek of what we have been missing for so long and desperately craving! I would even go so far as to say that a sunny day is better than cake or even shopping (though not at Lanes ofcourse!) - it gives us energy, puts a smile on everyones face, makes us friendlier people and life seems so much rosier!

That aside, I have managed to spend most of the afternoon on my laptop indoors designing this brand new blog, to capture the news & goings-on at Lanes Garden Shop. Luckily I have a great view in my conservatory of the garden so almost feel as if I'm outside!

It has now been over 2 weeks since James and I took over and re-opened Lanes Garden Shop in Ilminster and what a busy but wonderful time it has been. My dream for many years has been to own a shop and I can't quite believe we are actually there. For those of you who haven't had a chance to see it or live too far away, these pics give you a little glimpse of our product range. Certain lines such as striped seat pads, bobble cushions, coloured storage tins and clocks have been extremely popular and we are already replenishing.

We have loads of ideas for new products we are planning to launch over the coming weeks and months so there will always be something new to see. Look out for cool wellie boots, beautiful recycled metal statues & new wall art .....
